i am a bit bored and began to think of things I wished I had finished in FFXI before getting banned, so heres the list!

1. I never got a craft to 100. I level cooking to 71, woodworking to 75, and bonecraft to 74, but I never had the motivation to finish on towards 100.

2. Solo a sky god. Yuch and I had plans to take turns soloing sieryu or suzy, we even farmed the pops but never got around to it.

3. A relic. Perhaps the most hurtful thing about being banned was I didn't get to complete yoichinoyumi that was in progress. Only lacking 19 m silvers, attest and frag to finish would have taken 2 weeks max. I had the money to finish and Mx was in progress of helping me with the rare/ex items. Bleh.

4. Finish a salvage set: Dispite the 2 months of duping I wasn't able to complete a full set, being 4/5 on morrigan (missing legs of course! fuk u ssr!), 4/5 on skadi (who needs body anyway, for that matter what a waste on the head lol), and 3/5 on ares ( no body no legs).

5. Wotg missions. I keep up to date with the quests and missions in all 3 towns which were really interesting, and it sucks not being able to finish the awesome story lines they had going.

6. Rain hat. Back on diabolos I used to camp every pointless NM and get the rare/ex drop just for the hell of it, this is the only bastard that eluded my hunt for 2 years! In the end I wasn't even able to see him :/

7. Random equip. 5 years and no blm hat! Fuck you Xarc!! I suppose I was as close as ever in Mx tho. After Yuch got his, I would be allowed to lot the next one. Homam legs, these trousers avoided me for the longest but they were almost in my grasp! Next ones were mine haha. Adaman hauberk, next one was also mine, but i hardly got to use DRK or WAR(infact never used war) so meh. I was second in line for heca legs. And of course ridill, being #6 there I wasn't likely to see it anytime soon anyway.

8. Jobs: I always wanted to level bst, but i never seemed to get it past 10 :/ Cor was going to be my next job! I always wanted to tank stuff too some I was going to do PLD sometime however there was an LS rule that conflicted with it (No female or taru tanks allowed!) lol

9. Merits: I never capped DRK or WAR, maybe thats why i never got to use them haha, gimp!

10: Jorm: I wanted to 6 man jorm for the longest time, plenty of people would have gone just time was never on our side. Something would pop or there wouldn't be a tank on during free time. Orz;

11:Nyzul Isle WS's: I got to nyzul 100 on jan 20th, and was never able to finish getting a ws before the 22. I had a weapon for each job ready too;

Well I think that about sums it up, I did a lot of stuff in FFXI but I wasn't ready for it to be over.

I have been playing Aion for a few hours every other day and I got to level 22 Ranger. The game is really close to WoW, in the fighting styles and the way you level up off of quests. You need ALOT of exp in Aion to level up, at level 22 I need almost 2mil exp to get to 23. Killing monsters will get you about 6k exp, but its just so slow without help from quests.
At 22 your quests options are so small there is only a few of them and it doesn't get you thought 1/5 of your exp bar, so its kinda annoying from there on.
A few thing I dont like about Aion is first off the AH system. It is cool that they have a search bar, but if you don't know the exact spelling of the item you're looking for, then you are stuck searching for it through hundreds of pages of stuff for sale.
Second, is when you are fighting a monster it isn't 'claimed' so to speak. So anyone can run up and attack your mob. The benefit of having that is you get saved quite often by random people walking by. However the con outweights the pro in my opinion. If anyone hits your mob, you lose -50% exp, so someone can just be an asshole and gimp your exp for your work. Also, if they do a greater amount of damageto your mob then you do, you lose drop right to it, and all the drops become theirs.
Lastly, in the Chinese version, because of China's whack internet lawas and crazy addicted people, you can only play Aion for 3hours until you get a message saying "Your exp and rewards are reduced to 50% of normal, please log out and take a break." and you have to be offline for 5 hours before you can log back in to normal. However a Chinese adult can enter in their drivers lisence ID or something and get the 2 hours lifed to 10 hours. Of course that won't fly in NA or UK, people won't buy a game they cant play haha.

(Notice my LS? :D) LS leaders (Or Legion as its called in Aion) can do lots of cool things. They can assign ranks to the members and set rules for what each rank can do ie: invite people, kick memebrs, set announcements ect.. All members can view the Legions bank and Legion items, which can be taken out accorind to your legion rank and such. Legions gain points according to the amount of members and other reasons I am not sure of. When the Legion has enough points the leader can design a completely custom cape that all members can wear. Pretty cool stuff.

The secenry is pretty good, and its not very demanding, thought I do have trouble with lag in towns due to all the people and i only have 1gb ram

After a day of just pvping around the only classes I can't kill are Chanter ( which is like a bard) and Cleric ( which is a whm), Aion clases are much different then ffxi I learned. Just because they are support jobs doesn't mean they can't fight! Chanter seemed to be the harder job to take down in pvp so i made a new character! Also now I can play with Mari! So here is the new char

Here is a mini cutscene thats a litle bit before you get to pick your class. When you start you get a choice of Scout which branches off into ranger or assasin, Mage which is spirtmaster or blackmage, Priest which is Cleric or Chanter, or Warrior which becomes Templar or Gladiator. You get to pick that at level 10.

So I am doing a quest and the guy tells me to go find this nymphs clothes, i get to the area (keep in mind i am level 6 wih 300 hp lol) and this happens :

Lesson learned, do not steal naked ladys clothes, they will 1 shot you for 2700 dmg more then you have hp!

haha this was a lot of fun, finale claimed and accidenlty CFH. They planned to zone it to reset but we decided to kill it on CFH lol. After like 30 mins there was people from ever endgame LS on phoenix there having fun and killing the horse. Even with all the drama between linkshells we were able to seize the moment and have fun with it! Wish it could have been like that all the time:/

It all began for me one spring afternoon in 2004 when I heard that PS2 would be coming out with HDD. SOCOM (the game i was into then) was rumored to have an expansion pack of some kind with the HDD. So I saved up money from scrapping here and there to buy it. However, SOCOM never came out with the expansion pack. Feeling defeated and down that I wasted $100 on this HDD ( I was 14 years old at the time, $100 was baller!) I decided to try the free game that came with the HDD.

FInal Fantasy XI. My parents were suspicious at the fact they had to enter credit car info online, and thought it might be stolen. I ended up convincing them somehow to let me try it out.

I remember clearly the first day I logged onto FFXI as a char named Supafly on Diabolos server. There was someone standing right next to me who also registered their account on April 10, 2004. His name was Motti. We ended up wondering aimlessly around Sandy until we find someone else to help us on our way of finding out what the hell to do. A free roaming game was such a new concept to me, and obviously others. Theguy who helped us find some quests to do, Maximusx. Together us 3 went exploring the world of FFXI. It was around that time I met a good friend of mine. Rlbaker was just chilling there fishing. He taught me how and ever since there we been homies.

I remember my first few linkshells. Oceanpumas ran by Snoweagle and TheBlackDragonsGuild ( I’m sorry if you end up reading this I can't remember your name; ; But i know you were a WAR taru!). All the fun we had doing Eco-warrior. Then there was DoubleTrouble LS. My first LS that had actual events, however it shorty broke and was reformed into Wolfsxden. Once again I am sorry but I can't remember anyone from those LS's too many people have come and gone. However I remember one special Mithra PLD that I'll always remember for being such a great friend to me. Silverrain =)

After Wolfxden broke there was Godsvengence LS I was in for like 45 minutes haha. Who could forget all the Bluskye, Godsvengence, Seperioth, and Aviator drama :X

From that point I was determinded I would never join another LS, that it only led to sad endings. This is when I thought my FFXI time would come to an end. However I was introduced to ballista by Shortyslaya.

Ballista was my fondest memorys on Diabolos. Such great times and awesome people, I feel the need to let them know, I'll always remember you guys. Dynos(Gano), Knightmaster, Nevena, Darkasassin, Midawin, Elvene, Rvca, Coolfire, Fayttt, Goldo, Deltaviper, Cryforme, Dalutaniyasu, Delirum, Gotrice, Gamera, Melody, Twista, Janairo, Ruuna, Elko (the real one), Shortyslaya (AKA fake Elko), and Kotaxx. Thats about all I can remember name wise. I still remember many chars I can't put a name to from the ballista days. Specifically the JP players I forgot because they have weird spelling. I missed ballista a ton, because no one did it on Pheonix.

After my Ballista period on FFXI, which probably lasted two years, I was invited to join a endgame LS. At the time my only jobs were BLM65 and THF60, I didn’t know what this ‘endgame’ was, but I was gunna find out!

RagingCataclysms was the name. I met some cool people and learned some interesting things like “dynamis”. After a few months in RC I decided it wasn’t quite for me, and I reverted to Ballista only again. During that time I decided to level up RNG and DRK to 60 for ballista. Which were both great fun.

A few months later TOAU came out and there was tons of new and interesting things to check out. Still not having a 75 job, I decided it was time to level up. THF was my first 75, thanks to the TOAU exp bonuses.
Since I had hit THF 75 my jp friend Menti, myself, and Twista decided we will camp every useless NM in the game to get pointless rare/ex items for the fun of it, and that we did. You name any non HNM status NM with a rare/ex drop, we got it. Once the Nms were gone, our LS “Eclaire’ (which means something rare/ex in Japanese I think) ended up disbanding at that point too.

Somewhere along the way I met this fat fat purple tarutaru named Minitulian. I didn’t know at the time but Mini would be my future LS leader at some point.

This guy from ballista, Fayttt, introduced me to Zechiel’s EG LS known as Remnants. The idea of relic afv2 armor for my new found THF was an overwhelming thought, so I submitted my application right away. A few days later I got a tell asking if I would like to join, and I accepted a pearl to Remnants.

Such a great time I had in that LS.. It was probably due to the Vent we used. Myself, Supa, Fayttt, Aeres, Netfire, and Cassi had many great times on Vent. I’m we’ll never forget those fond times of making fun of Fayttt and other things that haha. After sometime Aeres convinced all of us but Cassi the leave Remnants to join Midnightrain.

However I took a U-turn from them, and met up with my old friend Minitulian. I found out was the leader of a EG LS names ElementRush. After checking out ER’s website I found I didn’t meet the requirements in joining.

So I took this time to level RNG, DRK, and BLM to 75. Having 4 75 jobs now I decided to apply to ER, in which I was accepted.

This LS once again was a home to me. With awesome people like Aug, Blazy, Darlingnikki, Marihoki, Crystina, Plate, Vhaldara, Minitulian, Rlbaker, Level, Baiden, Rakey, Killjoy, Shopice, Riggler, Lema, and Sprinkles. Exploring new things like HNM camps because an exciting new past time for me in FFXI. Everything was going great until one day I tried to log in and my password was changed. I had some very fun memorys in ER, like who can forget that night we flailed Jorm TWICE! lol

My ’friend’ Darkasassin from ballista times decided to jack my account and sell it. After 6 months of fighting with SE I was able to recover my account. Expecting to find a stripped character I logged on to Fenrir with a bunch of free merits and gear. I moved back to Diabolos right away and was welcomed back into ER.

Some drama happened here and there and I left ER and moved to Phoenix in hopes of joining MercX in July of 08. It was then I leveled RDM in hopes of a better chance of getting in to MercX. After a super long trial I was finally accepted in to my last home of my FFXI life.

I had great fun camping HNMs and actually getting to fight them! My first time I ever got to fight KB, Nid, Aspid, Sandworm, Ixion, Cerb, Khim, and Tia. Things in FFXI were the best they ever were, expect for the fact that I had left many good friends behind on Diabolos; ;

As time went on in mercury I joined the NA salvage group and we did salvage 5 days a week. After about a month, give or take, we were let on to a secret about duping salvage drops. It was pretty awesome while it lasted then it got patched and things were back to normal.

Then about 3 weeks ago, after meeting some JP LS members in Origami (Elmo, Maft, and Kotasan) Elmo showed me her Yoichinoyumi and I HAD to have one. I began saving and buying up all the currency I could find, with the help of Yuch, Vhaldara, and Dilias I was over half way done with stage 4 in 3 weeks time. I had 34 L jadeshells, and 20 M Silverpieces to be a bit more exact. That would be Stage 2, 4/4 silver. Stage 3 15/15 Silver, Stage 4 34/61 jades, and Stage 5 1/70 Silvers. Yeah, stage 5 would have sucked balls, but thanks to Ixion and Sandworm the cash flow just keep coming. Everything was great.

Today, on Jan 22, 2009 I logged on like any other day. Aspid window was soon, so I was on my way to VoS when suddenly I got some weird POL error message and I was kicked off. When I tried to log on I see (LM-17) and then I got a message on MSN, “dude I think I just got banned” and then another message saying the same from someone else, then another and another.

Today, on Jan22, 2009, my account has been perma-banned for exploiting a glitch in SE’s system. When I was duping salvage drops I didn’t even think of getting in trouble for this, it was “too good to be true” said a certain bearded fellow and right he was. In the end, I ended up paying a huge price from my ‘crimes’ of duping. FFXI has been a big part of my life for 4, almost 5 years and this is where it all ends. If I could go back and never dupe those items, I don’t know if I would. Everything has to come to an end sometime, right? If it was today, or next year, I would have had to quit FFXI sometime, though I didn’t want it to be because of a ban.

So it has been a few months since I updated my LJ. I had some free time tonight so I decided to take some pics of things I have gotten since joining MercuryX. I am loving being in an active endgame LS. Even though scanning Sandworm and Ixion is a bitch, it is totally worth it when payday comes :P
Anyway, here are some pictures.

I recently got RDM 75 before i joined Mx, before it pretty much all buyable stuff, here is it now.

I was only RDM 75 for about and month and I won the lot on this! Talk about luck :p

Salvage couldn't be any better :D

My first aspid was one that popped at about 7am with ZERO people in VoS, Dilias went to check on the day 7 1st window turtle in between a KB window and there it is up and unclaimed. So we went out with 4 people an called for back up. Ended killing with 5 or 6, i forget, and this dropped, me being the only one in the ally without it, it was all mine. Hurray i guess>_> (funny story almost the exact thing happend with a dalm, however skie ended up with that)

Anyone who knew me before I move to phoenix knows how much I hated BLM, almost to the point to where I would refuse to go on it.
Now, it is my favorite job by far, though I still like to change to something else every now and then. Can't believe I used to be so gimp on Diabolos>.> Dropping 12m on Morrigan's Robe destoryed my wallet! Won't be seeing a Novio earring till next pay check. That is if Ares 35 doesn't drop before then.

Yes, thats right! Gaiters! Big thanks goes to Yuch and Abra on that, without Abra giving his char to Yuch, and Yuch letting me use Abra, I wouldn't be able to camp Tia and earn the right to lot on some gaiters :P Thanks to Dil and Niki too for letting me have them so soon after I joined <3

On to my ex-favorite job! Thief used to be great fun on diabolos, but I just isn't that useful to me anymore. My salvage job is thf, and even though everyone says my TH is broken, we got plenty of drops! Scanning sandworm all the time payed off with this thf ws body, I'll just be using that till skadi 35 body drops. Finally a heca cap too >.> after missing like 7 drops during my time in ER lol

I love these legs! Thank you to the EU salvage team letting me come leech the 35 :P

Ixion watch out you damn horse! RNG pretty much has everything the best, but I am still missing a hope torque; ;
Skadi gloves 35 I got from my 1st SSR run ever back on Diabolos in Vhaldara's group. Took FOREVER for the 25 to drop though.

Finally I won a lot on a scouts belt! After losing 7 othe times! Yay!

Also my 3rd Einherjar item

Beard FH Dmize and I were camping KV 1 of numerous times in which no helm dropped. Btw hes totally easy to kite, I messed up my 1st time trying to kite KV, but after that its so easy. Could kite it for hours, infact at one point beard and i kited it for almost 2 hours and only this dropped for me.

Now my gimpest job, but one of my favorites. I never really get a chance to play DRK, infact the only time I do is when I am late for dynamis and the important jobs are taken so I can come on DD.
Only new things really are salvage gear for this. I think I am 5th in line for adaberk, maybe i'll be allowed to play it home once i get that! Oh yeah and my DRK legs are so gimp>.> I don't have homam legs, yet! I am #2 there I believe :P

Lucky day of mine when I completed 3 pieces in one day from ZR. Completed Skadi hands (needed 25) and the last frog put out dropping both morr and ares 35 feet for me :D

Thats about it for now, I will try to update sooner then every few months >_>

After about 3 weeks I finally did it! Yes, i hated every level of it, and damn you yumi for making me do it! But now that I'm done getting to 75, it feels good :D Now i only need merits on it... *sigh*

Did a few tier 3 mamool today.

Cg to yumi on the GS 3/3

The second mamool i forgot to screenshot, but it didn't drop the GS; ;
so 3/4 on that now
it dropped aurum cuisses, which yumi got as well

Then we gathered to pop tier 4 hydra.
Being the first one the server, we didn't know what to really expect.
It wasn't very hard at all, tanked it with 2 WARs and a DRK lol
So, now we are 1/3 on Tier5 pop item :D

The loot whore wins lot again! XD CG to yumi on thsi nice DNC body :O

I can't decide what to level next.

First it was between, SCH, SAM, MNK, DRG, PLD, or BRD
and I have narrowed it down to either MNK or DRG

Looking at my bag, i have way more stuff for DRG that i will level into then MNK, and also 1 bring problem.
I can't run fast on MNK >.>
But MNK is already lvl 25, while DRG is lvl 4.. and I don't wanna have to go to the dunes again lol

I am pretty much leaning towards DRG, let me know what you guys think

So we popped some more tier 3 gear znm.

So Rapa and I were going to get some Zeni today, and we were walking in Oldton, and rapa got aggro! Wtf?!?

He is BLM from 100%HP-50% HP and he does tier 3 aga's, and tier 4 spells. Also casts very fast, and uses manafont.
then from 50%-0% he is a WHM, uses curaga 4, cure 5, and does benediction-.-
Hes got some strong AoE TP moves too, but we managed to down him :O

So, after the matience the other day, i log on and do "/sea all" and i am the 17th person online!
I search the aery and no one was there, so i switched over to BLM and headed over.

On my way, Unut was up. A quick search and there was only 21 people online, after about 15mins. Guess alot of people had trouble getting on. Needless to say, I couldn't take a pic of this rabbit, because windower wasn't working for me. After Unut owned me, I just went to the aery, to find 1 person there, after servers being up for over an hour.

Fafnir was no where to be found tho. After about 2.5 hours after servers was up, the third person shower up in the aery. Some taru, known as yuch.

Then fafnir popped, with no one to welcome him home! After about 3.5~4hs (yes fafnir was up for about an hour and a half unclaimed!)
some more merc members started logging in, we claimed faf and went to work.
